Come drop off your kid at FAC West after school for a fun filled hour of activities with Fitness Professional and Personal Trainer, Maya Uribe! Maya has developed a variety of fun activities that will be fun and challenging in the areas of strength, flexibility, reaction time and cardiovascular endurance. Especially if your kid is interested or active in sports, this will be an awesome addition to their active and healthy lifestyle. This exciting opportunity starts Monday, January 8th!

Free Stretching and Recovery Clinic
Stretching is a necessary part of exercise recovery and can help reduce the risk of injury if done correctly. Join Fitness Professional and Certified Personal Trainer Maya Uribe for this one-hour workshop at FAC East and learn the differences and similarities between the most common stretching techniques. You will receive demonstrations on a select few stretches followed by one-on-one form correction and assistance in reaching maximum recovery.

Off-Season Strength for Cyclists
It’s that time of year where we are running out of options for outdoor gear and the roads and trails are less hospitable. While jumping on your trainer at home or hitting a cycling class may work to some degree, winter strength training for cycling will keep you motivated for the warmer weather. Designed by Personal Trainer and cyclist Robb Faus to prepare you for the next season, this 6-week course includes a dynamic stretching routine and a periodized exercise program to build your power center (core), your drivetrain (legs) and your shock absorbers (arms and upper body). Every session ends with a zone 2 ride to unwind. If you truly want to take your riding up a notch and be prepared for Spring, this program will give you the template for years to come. This program is a must if you’re serious about your riding!

Intro to TRX
Are you interested in implementing TRX into your workout? If you are unsure how or just need some new ideas, join Personal Trainer Robb Faus to learn a variety of exercises that will supplement your current workout or add something new. This three-hour workshop will cover upper body, lower body, core and plyometric applications that will be sure to challenge any fitness level. All participants will receive a one-hour follow-up Personal Training consultation to ensure that any questions are addressed. Enrollment is limited, registration required.

Into to Plyometrics Clinic
Are you looking to improve athletic performance, build muscle, and encourage fat loss? Consider Plyometrics training! This program is led by FAC Fitness Professional Daniel Martinez, International Sports Sciences Association Certified Personal Trainer. Be ready to exert your muscles in a short amount of time and learn the valuable fundamentals of plyometrics. From the most serious athlete to the most casual gym goer, anybody can do plyometrics. Functional Mobility Training Camp
Do you want to increase your muscle and joint strength, range of motion, and overall power? Mobility training will help with all of the above. By actively stretching muscles, mobility work strengthens your joints, reduces risk of injury, and improves functional performance. Learn how to use Bosu balls, wobble boards, bands, platforms, and more to get the most out of your workouts. Join personal trainer Maya Uribe for this 6-week training camp and watch your mobility improve!

Youth Basketball Skills Free Clinic
Designed and led by FAC Fitness Professional Daniel Martinez, International Sports Sciences Association Certified Personal Trainer. Using skills and coaching learned under the Northern Arizona University Basketball program, get ready to take your game to the next level. In this program, young basketball players can expect to learn new elements of the game of basketball while improving their speed, quickness, and agility. Enroll in this FREE program and prepare to add a competitive edge to your athlete. This program will be held at FACE from 9:30 am-10:30 am and enrollment will be limited to focus on individual attending. This is for youth 12-17.
