Certified Group Fitness Instructor

Janelle started teaching group fitness classes in 2015. While taking classes, her instructor encouraged her to get certified and begin her teaching career. She is certified in Les Mills BODYCOMBAT®, BODYPUMP® and SPRINT™. She completed her Les Mills AIM 1 (Advanced Instructor Module 1) BODYCOMBAT® and BODYPUMP®. She is a certified Advanced Instructor in BODYPUMP®.

Janelle created and teaches Special Athletes classes aimed to include individuals with special needs and their families into the group fitness setting where everyone can enjoy the value and fun of a group fitness class.

She and her husband Sean have formed an amazing Team—Nostrain Nogain and frequently team teach Les Mills classes! In addition to teaching group fitness classes, she is a full-time employee with FUSD at Flagstaff High School Transition School to Work Team Leader. She is also a Flagstaff High School Special Olympics Coach which she is MOST proud of!

She has been married to Sean since 1998 and has three children: daughter Osean born in 2000, daughter Zoe born in 2002 and son Torin born in 2004. Torin aspires to become a Les Mills instructor after his 18th birthday.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at home with Sean, their kids and four rescue cats and cooking. When not at home, she loves teaching and connecting with members at FAC.
